Thanks to some solid contributions from two online sources, we’ve got some rarely-seen footage from The Man Who Wasn’t There, The Coen Brothers’ crime drama presented in entirely in black and white.
The film, which is about a barber who blackmails his wife’s boss and lover for money and pays a price, was in fact contractually obligated to be released in colour in South Korea, from which this footage originates. The following video combines audio commentary on top of mixed clips from the film to provide the comparison.
I’ll forward this warning from the source, as well. If you haven’t watched the movie, this video will be a big spoiler so…beware.
