US Trailer for Dom Hemingway Starring Jude Law and Emelia Clarke

The latest trailer for Dom Hemingway changes the way we view Jude Law’s crude comedy.  Most of what we’ve seen so far has focused on Hemingway prancing around – in most cases naked – partaking in some heavy partying.  In the US version of the theatrical trailer, the film’s more dramatic side is given some limelight: Hemingway attempts to reconnect with his estranged daughter, played by Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones).

Dom Hemingway is written and directed by Richard Shepard (The Matador and episodes of Girls).  It also stars Richard E. Grant and Demian Bichir.  After debuting at TIFF 2013, it will be hitting theatres on April 4th, 2014.

Dom Hemingway (Jude Law) is a larger-than-life safecracker with a loose fuse who is funny, profane, and dangerous. After 12 years in prison, he sets off with his partner-in-crime Dickie (Richard E. Grant), looking to collect what he’s owed for keeping his mouth shut and protecting his boss Mr. Fontaine (Demian Birchir).

Following a near death experience, Dom tries to re-connect with his estranged daughter (Emilia Clarke), but is soon drawn back into the only world he knows, looking to settle the ultimate debt.
