Two new images have surfaced online for District 9 director Neil Blomkamp’s second theatrical outing Elysium. The film is set in 2159, and two classes of people are divided: the wealthy live on a man-made space station called Elysium, while the rest of the humans inhabit an overpopulated and dying Earth. Matt Damon plays a desperate man who must reach Elysium in order to save his life and bring equality to all.
Everything about this movie sounds fantastic – just need a killer trailer to put it on the must-watch list for summer movies.
The supporting cast includes Jodie Foster, Wagner Moura, Sharlto Copley, William Fichtner, Alice Braga, and Diego Luna.
