Two new beind-the-scenes featurettes have surfaced online for director Gore Verbinski’s action comedy adventure flick The Lone Ranger. The film centers around untold events that transformed John Reid into The Lone Ranger, told through the eyes of his wingman/spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp).
In one featurette, we see The Lone Ranger – aka Armie Hammer – performing a frightening stunt that involves standing atop a elevated platform in the middle of the desert, as a helicopter flies by to film the scene.
The second featurette is an Access Hollywood piece discussing the up-and-coming star and his role in the movie.
The supporting cast includes Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter.
