Paramount has a new series of clips for director Marc Forster’s upcoming zombie film World War Z. The film is an adaptation of Max Brooks novel of the same name and centers around Gerry Lane (Brad Pitt), a U.N. worker who must travel the world to find a way to stop the zombie pandemic that is overpowering armies and shattering governments.
The long delayed and reportedly troubled production is finally hitting theaters this week, and the early reviews have been a pleasant surprise. This toxic buzz around the film the last two years is starting to fall away, and now the question is if the film will be worth it. Some reports say the film needs to gross over $400 million to break even. Paramount originally planned this film to be the first entry in a franchise – no word if that is still the plan.
