The New Season of ‘Arrested Development’ Gets A Poster

It was announced last week that the new season of Arrested Development will premiere on Netflix’s streaming service on May 26 at 12:01 AM.  The season will feature fifteen brand spankin’ new episodes, which will be available all at once (the same way all TV shows are uploaded for streaming).  Thanks to this announcement, we’ve got a brand new poster to show off, as marketing begins with a heavy hand.

The poster is a bit of a mystery.  I can’t quite figure out how it relates to the storyline of the show, or how the third season ended.  The poster features stacked shipping containers in the foreground, a bright orange container with a padlock presumably holds the secrets of the fourth season.  But… shipping containers? If you can make a connection, please write in the comments below!

As previously reported, every primary cast member is returning.  Many of the secondary extended ‘cameos’ from Judy Greer, Henry Winkler, Scott Biao, Jeff Garlin, Carl Weathers, Andy Richter and Liza Minnelli will also be returning.  There will also be some awesome new cameos provided by John Slattery (Mad Men), Seth Rogen, Kristen Wiig, Isla Fisher and Conan O’Brien.

If the show is received well enough, this fifteen episode half-season will hopefully prelude an Arrested Development movie.  So, on May 26, make sure to tune in.  Do all us die-hard fans a favour so we can finally see the Bluth family on the big screen!
