In preparation for their roles in Disney’s upcoming reboot of The Lone Ranger, stars Armie Hammer and Ruth Wilson were sent to Cowboy Bootcamp, to learn the way of their forefathers from the old American West.
For director Gore Verbinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer, it was essential for the actors to learn the basic survival skills employed by any cowboy during the 1850s through to the 1940s. From throwing lassos to gunfighting, Wilson and Hammer had to become experts in a hurry.
The Lone Ranger opens in US theatres July 3rd; August 9th in the UK.
