Paramount Pictures has released a second full trailer for Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street. Even though the first trailer is still my favourite, all the new footage in this film just makes you want to jump into this world of crime, corruption and obscenity with Leo, Jonah & company.
The film is set to be released on December 25 2013, and tells the true story of story of Jordan Belfort, a New York stockbroker who refuses to cooperate in a large securities fraud case involving corruption on Wall Street, the corporate banking world and mob infiltration.
The Wolf of Wall Street was adapted into a screenplay by Terence Winter and also stars Matthew McConaughey, Jon Favreau, Jon Bernthal, Margot Robbie Jean Dujardin, Spike Jonze, Ethan Suplee and Rob Reiner.
Revered filmmaker Martin Scorsese directs the story of New York stockbroker Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio). From the American dream to corporate greed, Belfort goes from penny stocks and righteousness to IPOs and a life of corruption in the late 80s. Excess success and affluence in his early twenties as founder of the brokerage firm Stratton Oakmont warranted Belfort the title – “The Wolf of Wall Street.” Money. Power. Women. Drugs. Temptations were for the taking and the threat of authority was irrelevant. For Jordan and his wolf pack, modesty was quickly deemed overrated and more was never enough.
