I’m not sure that a Jackass-related movie can exist without a Red Band trailer. Now that Paramount has finally released one – less than a week before its release? – we can really get a sense of how bad this Grandpa is gonna be.
Johnny Knoxville returns as the old-man character he played in various Jackass projects. In the film, he takes his eight-year-old grandson Billy (Jackson Nicoll) on a trip across the country. Hilariously questionable and immoral things ensue. In this new trailer, you’ll see mostly all-new footage of the more gruesome and head-shaking pranks that were just too much for the Green Band version.
The film reunites Knoxville with the captains of the franchise, including director Jeff Tremaine, Spike Jonze and two In Living Color & MADtv writers Fax Bahr and Adam Small.
Bad Grandpa hits theatres on October 25th. This trailer is NSFW. But, I think the poster got that message across, just fine.
86 year-old Irving Zisman is on a journey across America with the most unlikely companion, his 8 year-old Grandson Billy in “Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa.” This October, the signature Jackass character Irving Zisman (Johnny Knoxville) and Billy (Jackson Nicoll) will take movie audiences along for the most insane hidden camera road trip ever captured on camera. Along the way Irving will introduce the young and impressionable Billy to people, places and situations that give new meaning to the term childrearing. The duo will encounter male strippers, disgruntled child beauty pageant contestants (and their equally disgruntled mothers), funeral home mourners, biker bar patrons and a whole lot of unsuspecting citizens. Real people in unreal situations, making for one really messed up comedy.
