CBS films has released a new trailer for the Coen Brothers’ upcoming folk drama Inside Llewyn Davis. The film premiered at Cannes to rave reviews and centers around young folk singer (Oscar Isaac) as he navigates the Greenwich Village folk scene of 1961. It’s a Coen Brothers’ movie so its pretty much required viewing for filmgoers and a sure fire Oscar contender. There may not be the surplus of A-list talent that were accustomed to seeing in Coen films, but there is an awful lot of up and coming talent here.
This latest trailer focuses more on the humor we’ve come to expect from the Coen Brothers’s well balancing character hardships and the standard stunning visuals and well written supporting characters. Lots to like here.
The supporting cast includes Carey Mulligan, John Goodman, Garrett Hedlund, Alex Karpovsky, Adam Driver and Justin Timberlake.
