Paramount has released a new batch of images from director Michael Bay’s upcoming Pain & Gain. The film is set in Miami and based on a series of articles from the Miami New Times and centers around a trio of personal trainers (Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie) in Miami who, while pursing the American Dream, get caught up in some illegal activities.
It looks great and may give Michael Bay a bit of reprieve from the abuse he’s taken for his hack jobs on the Transformers, various horror and (looks like he’s doing to) TMNT franchises.
The supporting cast includes Ed Harris, Rob Corddry, Bar Paly, Tony Shalhoub, Rebel Wilson and Ken Jeong.
