Disney has released a fourth trailer for Gore Verbinski’s upcoming reboot of The Lone Ranger. The film is told from the point of view of Native American warrior Tonto (Depp) as he recounts the untold tales that transformed lawman John Reid (Hammer), into a legend of justice in the midwest.
I love the Lone Ranger character and the talent this project has collected. However… every trailer I see makes me worry as I say to myself, “Please don’t be Wild Wild West, please don’t be Wild Wild West.”
The supporting cast includes Tom Wilkinson, William Fichtner, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, Ruth Wilson and Helena Bonham Carter.
