Here’s Zach Galifianakis performing comedy at Petterson’s Coffeehouse in Los Angeles, 1998. While it lasted, Petterson’s was a beloved open mic scene, where comedians worked out new material. Plenty of now-famous faces performed there. In this clip, Ken Jeong joins Zach onstage for some racial stereotyping fun, staples of both their stand-up routines.
While we can’t say for sure if this is the first time they’d performed together, it sure is great to see them so fresh-faced early in their careers.
