For big fans of Jeff Bridges, it’s probably common knowledge that not only is he one of the best actors working today, but he is also a singer, producer and award-winning photographer.
For a number of years, Bridges’s photography has been made available through his official website. In addition, you can see his work published in the 2003 collection, “Photographs by Jeff Bridges”. It’s really cool to see these candid photos from the perspective of a man at the centre of all the “action”. Mmmyeah, pun intended.
Bridges uses a Wide-Lux camera, which is one of those cameras you might see a hipster use. Its main function is to capture photographs with a similar aspect ratio to film, 1:8:5. In layman’s terms, it takes “widescreen” pictures. Look, don’t judge Bridges cause he uses a hipster camera. He makes it cool and not ironic.
You can check out a number of galleries from his site, which cover many film shoots including Iron Man, True Grit, Tron: Legacy and more. If you purchase his book, all proceeds will go to the Motion Picture and Television Fund. We’ve posted some of the photos below…
