As much as I despise being freaked out this much, I know a great trailer when I see one!
Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. Based on a true story, “The Conjuring” tells the horrifying tale of how world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.
The film stars Lili Taylor, Ron Livingston, Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Joey King, Mackenzie Foy and Shanley Caswell. The film was originally going to be released sooner, but has been changed to July 19th after test audiences went bananas. Like, “this is the best thing I’ve ever seen” bananas. It’s directed by James Wan, the director of both Insidious and Saw. He seems to be on a quest to perfect his skills in keeping you awake at night.
Note: “Bananas” is not official industry terminology.
