Epic 13-Minute Behind-The-Scenes Featurette Explains Zack Snyder’s Man Of Steel

A new 13-minute featurette has surfaced online for Zack Snyder’s Superman adaptation Man of Steel.  I was terrified when I saw Warner Brothers released a 13-minute featurette for Man of Steel, because anything that long is generally spoiler-filled.  Last summer we saw plenty of examples when The Amazing Spider-Man, The Dark Knight Rises and Prometheus flooded the internet with pre-release material.

However, this featurette doesn’t feel that way… it explains the process and doesn’t spoil anything.  It simply tries to address questions people will have going into the film, which I think will add greater understanding to what people will see in theaters.  These are iconic characters that most filmgoers are familiar with and, through cast and crew interviews, we get some insight to the direction Snyder is taking them.

Some of the footage has been part of previously released featurettes, but there is lots of new stuff here.

Next summer, “Man of Steel” is coming to the big screen. The film is from director Zack Snyder and producers Charles Roven, Christopher Nolan, Emma Thomas and Deborah Snyder. The screenplay was written by David S. Goyer from a story by Goyer & Nolan, based upon Superman characters created by Jerry Siegel & Joe Shuster and published by DC Comics.
