Twentieth Century Fox has released a brand new trailer for their thriller Runner Runner. The film stars Ben Affleck, a conniving orchestrator of a ruthless gambling operation that spins a web in which Justin Timberlake finds himself caught up in. Directed by Brad Furman, who’s coming off the very entertaining The Lincoln Lawyer, and written by Brian Koppelman and David Levien (Rounders, Ocean’s Thirteen), it’s clear there’s some strong skill behind this project.
Frankly, watching Ben Affleck in anything right now it’s hard not to see or think of Batman. That aside, it looks like he’s returning to the kind of role that stole nearly every scene he appeared in Boiler Room. The rest of the cast stars the very capable Anthony Mackie and the beautiful Gemma Arterton.
Runner Runner is due to hit theatres on October 4th.
